What kind of cookies do you make?
It's all in our name! We make Just Sugar Cookies. Tried. True. Classic. Sugar cookies.
What is in your cookies?
We make EVERY batch from scratch. Flour, butter, sugar, eggs, baking powder, icing sugar, vanilla, food colouring and meringue powder all comes together to bring you our custom designs.
Is there a minimum amount I have to order?
The prices shown for our cookies are by the dozen, unless it states otherwise in our products description of course, our box sets and decorating kits are sold per box.
Can I buy just one cookie?
You absolutely can, though our individual cookies are not sold online. Individually sold cookies can be found at the special events and markets we attend from time to time. Be sure to check our calendar or social media for updates.
Do you offer Keto, gluten free, vegan etc... options?
At present we do not offer any special dietary cookies, but be sure to check back as we work on new recipes.
Do you do custom cookies?
We sure do! We even have a custom form where you can fill out the details for us to make your creations! We take care of the rest. Its that easy!
How much do your cookies cost?
Our cookies will range in pricing based on the size of cookie and complexity of the design, number of colours etc.... To get an idea of approximate cost before you buy, use our custom cookie calculator on our website.
How far in advance do I need to order?
The more notice the better we always say! In most cases we require a minimum of 10 days notice. During peak seasons or around major holidays additional notice is required due to volume of orders for special occasions. When placing an order with us, a date and time selector will show the earliest dates available for your order.
Can I find your cookies in a store or bakery?
You sure can! You can find us at the Victoria Public Market. Check out our online calendar for when we will be there.
Do you offer classes/workshops?
Our first priority is safety during COVID19 and adhering to the Public Health Orders set forth by the province. In the event the PHO changes we will adjust our classes and protocols accordingly. For more details please see our Classes and Workshops category.
Where are you based out of?
We originated in Prince George BC Canada and relocated to Vancouver Island in September 2021. At present we are working very hard on finding a more permanent location in Victoria, BC(#GOALS!). Check our social media for the most up to date details.
Do you offer shipping or delivery?
We are currently working on adding shipping to help us expand our business in 2022. At present we are working with Canada Post, so you wil lsee changes to the checkout process in early Spring of 2022.
Do I have to pay in full or during pick up?
In order to secure your order, all payments must be made in full at the time of purchase. E-transfers do not require a security question or answer. If paying by e-transfer your order is not secure until payment in full is received.
Do you have a cancellation/refund policy?
As our products are made to order and custom made, they are non refundable. If in the event you need to cancel your order, we require a minimum of 30 days notice in writing to email@example.com and a refund will be issued less 25% of your order total.
Order & Shipping Policies
Please note that when placing an order you are confirming that the information you have entered is correct. *Be sure to add firstname.lastname@example.org to your safe email address list to ensure you receive your order confirmations**
Order Dates - Once you have selected your date of pick up along with your time slot please note your selected date and time. Orders cannot be moved up to an earlier date once the order is placed.
Time Slots - We require 48 hours written notice of any order time slot change be sent to email@example.com so that we may reschedule your pick up time accordingly. We will not accept social media messages for any schedule changes.
In the event your order is not picked up within 24 hours following your order due date, your order will be forfeited along with any payments made, Just Sugar Cookies reserves the right to then resell your order. By checking the box at check out for your order you are agreeing to the terms and conditions laid out above.
We will do our very best to ensure your cookies are protected as they make their way to you. Once they leave our hands and are in the hands of the carrier we are not responsible for any breakage or mishandling. As shipping times can vary based on the carriers schedule, inclement weather and time of year, we advise to allow 4 to 5 business days for shipping times, just in case. This does not include the lead time to create your cookies, so be sure to order early.
